We place a simple basket with wine, cheese, wafer crackers, chocolate and a welcome note inside with some of that fluffy paper and people love it.  We've had comments on what a nice touch that is.  Take that hotels!!!  Oh...And truth be told, a lot of it doesn't get used or taken!
