Setting prices too low can give people the feeling that there is "something wrong" with your property and avoid it, whereas those that have increased their rates (as above) seem to have increased their bookings. Increasing the price also gives a bit more "wiggle room" should you need to negotiate.
Mark

www.holidayalmeria.o.uk

RE: Lower your Rates in Tough Times

I put my rates up this year and have over 30 weeks booked. I can not afford to lower rates and to be honest wouldn't even if i could. In order to keep the place in tip top condition i have to be realistic about what I charge.

Lower your Rates in Tough Times

:)This has been a topic on alot of minds...so I'm adressing it here. Times are tough folks..None of us want to lower our rates, but we have to think of the travelers and their needs. Think of how you can cut back and offer a little more room for less. This is what people are looking for. Just gage what you think is best. Please! Give people a better option than hotels!
